Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger, Norway. She is professionally known as Aurora and occasionally stylized using lowercase letters, such as AURORA. Her debut E.P. The fact that she was a musician wasn't known by her family until she turned fourteen. Aurora wasn't a childhood dream. She says she just likes writing songs. According to her music, it is the most efficient means of communicating anything.
